She had eaten her evening meal, walked upstairs, sat down in a chair, and expired in five minutes. She was the daughter of Frisby and Lydia Humbertson and was born in Addison Township, August 3, 1866, on the farm now owned by Harry Humbertson. She lived 78 years and one month, and spent her entire life in Addison Township and Addison borough. On Nov. 2, 1884, she was married to Edward Nicklow, who passed away Dec. 24, 1922. She was the mother of four sons, all surviving, namely: Murrel Nicklow, Uniontown; Clarence, Friendsville, Md.; Ray, Strawn (State Line), and Lester, Addison. She leaves 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death, besides her husband, by one brother, Charles Humbertson, and a half-sister, Mrs. Anna Speicher. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Addison since February, 1884. Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Lilly Loudermilk, with whom she had been living during the last years and where she passed away. Her pastor, Rev. Thomas Page, conducted the funeral rites. The pallbearers were C. T. Davis, A. C. Hartzell, Charles Bird, J. W. Rush, F. L. Jefferys and Lester Frazee. Interment was made in Addison Cemetery under direction of Mortician Harry B. Rishebarger. Meyersdale Republican, September 7, 1944
