    Elaine J. Nicola, 58, Confluence RD 2, died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 1993, at
  Uniontown Hospital.  Born May 5, 1935, in Ohiopyle, a daughter of the late
  Richard and Thelma (Miller) Stark.  Preceded in death by her first husband,
  Robert Linse; a brother, Dewayne Stark, and an infant sister, Connie M.
  Stark. Survived by her husband, Joseph Nicola; three brothers; John Blaine
  Stark, Confluence; Robert M. Stark, Ohiopyle, and James L. Stark,
  Confluence; and four sisters: Lorraine M. Miner, Connellsville; Janet E.
  Treacher, Hopwood, and Doris P. Woodmency and Donna S. Critchfield, both of
  Confluence.  Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the
  Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m.
  Sunday, with the Rev. John H. Snyder officiating.  Interment, Hickman
  Chapel Cemetery.
