  NIDER

  Andrew Nider, 84, of Honeoye, N.Y. died Dec. 28, 2002, in Honeoye.  Born
  April 15, 1918, in Goodtown, Pa.  A son of the late Vasil and Katarina
  (Monko) Najda.  Survived by his wife of 55 years, Dorothy; children:
  Kathryn Wolf, Jamestown, N.C.; Karen (Gary) Olmstead, Rochester, N.Y.;
  Andrea (Peter) Schlau, Livonia, N.Y.; Stephen (Katherine) Nider,
  Fallsbrook, Calif. and Sonya (Harold) Dotson, Honeoye, N.Y. Grandchildren
  Rebecca and Bryan Wolf, Nicole and Robert Olmstead, Kirsten and Eric
  Schlau, Andrew, Philip and Brandon Dotson, Alexis Grimmer and Stephanie
  Nider, Meyersdale; Martha Nedrow, Berlin; Catherine Ralston, Binghamton,
  N.Y.; Roseanne Custer, Forest Hill, Md. and Stella Fisher, Fort Meyers
  Beach, Fla. Also survived by a sister-in-law, Mary Nider, Binghamton, N.Y.
  and several nieces and nephews. Andrew was a veteran of the U.S. Army World
  War II. Following a funeral service Tuesday at the Kevin Dougherty Funeral
  Home in Livonia, N.Y., friends will be received 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday
  at the Price Funeral Home in Meyersdale.  A brief service will be conducted
  at the funeral home at 1 p.m. followed by the funeral service at SS. Peter
  and Paul Russian Orthodox Church in Goodtown with Rev. Father John Gourusik
  officiating.  Interment will follow at St. Paul (Fritz) Cemetery,
  Brothersvalley Township.  In lieu of flowers, his family asks that you
  remember him and honor him, to spend time with an elderly person, to send
  flowers to someone living, or send a donation to your favorite charity.
