  WASCO C. NIDER
  
  Wasco C. Nider, 72, of Berlin RD 3, died Dec. 27, 1982, at Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.
  He was born Sept. 21, 1910, in Meyersdale, a son of Wasco and Catherine
  (Mynko) Nider.
  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Nick. He is survived
  by his wife, the former Mary L. Chonko; a daughter, Rose Ann, married to
  Hagres Roy Nedrow of Tallmadge, Ohio; and son, Philip E., Akron, Ohio;
  eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was a brother of:
  Mrs. Mary Phillips of Garrett; Mrs. Anna Karas and Mrs. Catherine Ralston,
  both of Binghamton, N.Y.; Andrew, Rochester, N.Y.; Mrs. Rose Ann Custer,
  Baltimore, Md.; Mrs. Martha Nedrow and Mrs. Stella Fisher, both of Fort
  Myers, Fla.; Michael, of Meyersdale. He was a retired coal miner, a member
  of St. Gregory's Church, Macdonaldton.
  Friends were received at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin.  Mass of
  Christian Burial was held at St. Gregory's Church with the Rev. Father
  Samuel J. Tomaselli officiating.  Interment, St. Gregory's Cemetery. Wake
  service was at the funeral home.
