Born Dec. 15, 1918 in McKeesport. Son of Lawrence F. and Mary (Martinek) Niedoba. Preceded in death by parents, wife, the former Anna Labancz, who died Jan. 29, 1998, and sisters, Mary Niedoba and Louise Mayernik. Survived by sons, Lawrence J. Niedoba married to the former Peggy Traynor of Rockwood, David J. Niedoba married to the former Paula Manns of Greensburg, and three grandchildren, Mandy, Amy and David Niedoba. Brother of Mrs. Johanna "Jay" Zahradnik of Spring Hill, Fla. Member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, United Steel Workers of America, and Polish National Alliance. A 1936 graduate of Duquesne High School. World War II veteran of the U.S. Army. Retired millwright for US Steel Duquesne Works. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset. Funeral mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Monsignor Samuel J. Tomaselli, Celebrant.
