Niehenke, 71, of Freedom, Pa., died Nov. 24, 1986. Born in Gray, Pa., March 15, 1915, son of the late William and Cora (Zimmerman) Niehenke. He had been a resident of Friedens for the past eight years, was employed as a millwright in the J&L Division of LTD Steel in Aliquippa for 27 years, and retired in 1976. A member of the Conway C&M Church and Local Union 1211. Survived by his wife, Blanche (Hay) Niehenke; two sons, Delbert of Baden and James at home; one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Sally) Kanouff of Baden; seven grandchildren; two brothers, John of Youngwood, Pa., and Eugene of Ebensburg, Pa. Friends will be received at the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Francis Brady, Supervisor, Rockwood, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, where a service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, with his pastor, the Rev. Bradley R. Sickler, officiating.
