  MICHAEL C. NIEMIEC

  Michael C. Niemiec, 91, of Acosta, died Nov. 11, 1978 at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born Sept. 22, 1887 in Poland, a son of John and Mary
  Niemiec.  Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Mary Shutty, who
  died Dec. 28, 1970; an infant daughter; and several brothers and sisters. 
  Survived by these children: John, married to the former Leona Blair;
  Kathryn; and Joseph, married to the former Rosemary (Boburchak) and
  Stanley, married to the former Leona Moucheron, all of Acosta; and Frank,
  married to the former Elda Pederzolli, of Cleveland;  Anna, wife of Joseph
  Yokobosky; Anthony and Agnes, wife of Matthew Witkowski, all of Niagra
  Falls, New York; also 23 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.  He was
  a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Acosta; Jenners Local 1742 UMWA;
  retired miner of the former Consolidated Coal Company, Acosta.  Friends
  were received Sunday evening and will be received until 9 p.m. Monday at
  the Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main Street, Boswell, where Wake
  Services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday.  Mass of Christian Burial, 10
  a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Catholic Church with the Rev. J. Joseph
  Stritmatter.  Interment, Sacred Heart Cemetery, Portage.
