  HARRY NIGHTINGALE
    
    Harry Nightingale, 85, Pontiac, Mich, formerly of Meyersdale, died Dec.
  15, 1985, in Avondale Nursing Home, Rochester, Mich.  Born Oct. 20, 1900,
  in Garrett, a son of the late Thomas and Sabina (Fith) Nightingale. 
  Preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude Burkholder.  Survived by these
  children: Leo, Somerset; Thomas, Clinton, Ind.; Arthur, Lloyd and Mrs.
  Salinda Nicholas, all of Hattiesburg, Miss.; Mrs. Phylis Bowman, Ontario,
  Calif.; Mrs. Betty Rotoman and Mrs. Shirley Hutchinson, both of Pontiac, 
  Mich.; and Mrs. Florence DeCrow, Mesa, Ariz.  Also survived by sister, 
  Salina Hoyman, Garrett.  He was a retired coal miner.  Friends will be 
  received after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Leckemby Funeral Home, where 
  services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Milton Morris 
  officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
