    SCOTT J. NIGHTINGALE
    
  Scott J. Nightingale, 62, of Somerset RD 2 died Dec. 19, 1996 at
  Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born May 22, 1934 in Garrett, a son of
  the late Ernest T. and Goldie L. (Fullerton) Nightingale.  Also preceded in
  death by two sisters, Janet Stoner and Dorothy Ravenscraft.  Survived by
  his widow, the former Ellen Ackerman and these children: Scott R., Deborah
  Rosman and Sharon Lyon, all of Somerset; David of Berlin, Bruce of
  Markleton, and three stepchildren Patricia Beverly of Berlin, Tammy
  Donaldson of Garrett and Lynda Straka of Stoystown, 11 grandchildren, 6
  step grandchildren and a great grandchild.  Also survived by a brother
  William of Garrett.  Member of the HA of VFW of Somerset 554, and the
  Somerset American Legion HA, Fraternal Order of Eagles in Somerset, Jenners
  Rod and Gun Club, the New Baltimore Sportsmen, and the Falcon Club of
  Jerome.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday in
  the Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be held at 2 p.m.
  Sunday with Pastor Robert Stahl.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
