NIXDORF III Allen Gibson Nixdorf III, 52, of Pine Bank, RD 2, Pa., died Jan. 10, 1994, after suffering a heart attack near his home. Born March 9, 1941, at Braddock, Pa. a son of the late Elma and Allen G. Nixdorf Jr. A 1959 graduate of Wilkinsburg High School; received bachelor of science degree from Shippensburg University, earned M.A. in history from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and an administrative degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Member of wrestling team at Shippensburg University. Member of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. Nixdorf was a past president of East Hills Jaycees in Allegheny County; past president of the Laurel Hills Lions Club in Somerset County; board member of the Greene County Historical Society; president of Greene County United Way. Active as a member and performer with the Greene County Theater Company; former board member of Greene County E.A.L.; member of Greene County Wellness Committee. Member of the First Presbyterian Church of Waynesburg, where he was an elder and former superintendent of the Sunday School. Nixdorf had worked as a teacher and adminstrative assistant in Wilkinsburg Schools, where he had coached junior high wrestling. Served as principal of Rockwood Area Junior High School. During his years of service at the Central Greene School District in Greene County, he had been principal, director of ancillary services and assistant principal. Surviving are his wife, Suanne Shepperd Nixdorf, whom he married Dec. 23, 1965; two daughters, Allison Sheperd Nixdorf and Tracy Marie Nixdorf; five sisters: Mrs. Kenneth (Connie) Monroe and Mrs. Katherine Zito, both of Braddock Hills; Mrs. Florence Trax of Clinton; Mrs. Americo (Ethel) Muro of Swissvale; Mrs. Betsy Greer of (portion missing) .........Behm Funeral Home Inc., 182 W. High St., Waynesburg, service 11 a.m. Thursday in First Presbyterian Church, Waynesburg, with the Rev. David L. Barrett and Rev. William Sukolsky officiating, followed by interment in Oakmont Cemetery, Waynesburg. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Greene County United Way, 748 E.
