Born Aug. 9, 1916 in Sandpatch. A daughter of the late William E. and M. Myrtle (Ravenscraft) Secrest. Also preceded in death by her husband: Silvio J. Noble who died in 1968; a sister, Hilda Streng, and a brother: Karl E. Secrest. Survived by two children: Ronald J. Noble, and his wife Patricia A. (Pritts), Meyersdale, and Gary L. Noble, and his wife Betty, Ocala, Fla. Five grandchildren: Ronda, wife of Joseph Lee, Meyersdale; David Noble, and his wife Michelle, DeBary, Fla.; Douglas Noble, and his friend William Schenck, Butler; Gary Noble Jr., and his wife Tracy (Brant), Garrett; and Beverly Frampton, Somerset. Also nine great-grandchildren, 15 nieces and nephews and a dear friend, Sharon Pritts-Hillman. A member of the Amity United Church of Christ, Meyersdale, where she was a former member of the choir, and the Willing Workers. Also a past member of the Dames of Malta, Meyersdale Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary serving as past president and secretary, and VFW Ladies Auxiliary, serving as past president and secretary. Alice was retired from Meyersdale Manufacturing in 1981 and she was a former president of Amalgamated Union. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Bruce Ashlock officiating.
