  CHARLES W. NOLF
  
  Charles W. Nolf, 74, of Confluence RD 3, died Jan. 23, 1989, at home.
  He was born Jan. 21, 1915, in Lower Turkeyfoot Township, a son of the late 
  Howard Mark and Alice (Cochran) Nolf.
  He is survived by his wife Leona Tressler Nolf, three sons, Roger of San Jose, 
  CA.; Dale of Confluence; and William of Kingston, Jamaica. Also two daughters, 
  Berdine Smith of Confluence and Lois Augustine of Addison; twelve grandchildren 
  and four great grandchildren; also a sister Roberta Tressler of Confluence and a 
  brother Edward of Lehigh Acres, FL.
  He was preceded in death by a brother Howard.
  He was a veteran of World War II; member of Confluence VFW Post 7250; retired 
  from Bethlehem Steel.
  Friends will be received from 2-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Humbert Funeral Home, 
  Confluence where services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Nevin Umbel 
  officiating.  Interment, Addison Cemetery.
