KATHRYN I. NORRIS

  Kathryn I. Norris, 74, of 1302 Oldtown Road, died October 26, 1981 in Sacred 
Heart Hospice Unit, Cumberland, Md.
  She was born at Merrill, Md., and was a daughter of the late James and 
Drucilla (Hummell) Merrill.
  She was a member of the Living Stone Church of the Brethren.
  She is survived by her husband, Lloyd E. Norris; one stepson, Lloyd R. Norris, 
Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; one daughter, Mrs. Donna J. Owens of Short Gap; one 
stepdaughter, Mrs. Charlie L. Wroten of Winston-Salem, N.C.; five brothers, 
Samuel Merrill, Cumberland, Md,; Harry Merrill of McCoole; Lex Merrill and James 
Merrill, both of Cumberland, and Paul Merrill of Oakland; one sister, Mrs. Nira 
Brown of Salisbury, and seven grandchildren.
  Friends were received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home where services were 
conducted with the Rev. Oscar Ohler officiating.  Interment was in Sunset 
Memorial Park.
  Pallbearers were Lex Merrill, Samuel Merrill, Junior Merrill, Harry Merrill, 
Paul Merrill and Carl Ashenfelter.
