Born Feb. 14, 1926, in Salisbury, she was a daughter of John and Alverta (Finzel) Housel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Albert Norris. Mrs. Norris was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Salisbury, and was a homemaker. Surviving are a son, Alexander K. Norris and wife, Sara, of Garrettsville, Ohio; two brothers: twin brother Paul Housel and wife Edna; and Robert Housel and wife Betty, both of Salisbury; three sisters: Mary Durst and husband Roy, also of Salisbury; Rachel Durst and husband Ken; and Dorothy Dymond and husband Floyd, both of Grantsville, Md.; five grandchildren; Rick Norris and wife Terry; Steve Norris, Ken Norris Jr. and wife Mary Ann; Stacy Emerick and husband Joe; and Lori Maur and husband Rob; 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great- grandchild. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, Inc., Salisbury, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, April 3. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. today, Thursday, April 4, with the Rev. David E. Fetter officiating. Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
