NORRIS

  Ronald Lee Norris, 56, of Morris Road, Friedens, died March 9, 2001 in 
Somerset Twp. Born Sept. 18, 1944 in Fairhope, son of Hilda (Ringler) Norris of 
Berlin and the late Elwood Norris.  Survived by his wife of 33 years, the former 
Rebecca Mall; sons Michael Lee and friend Tracy Ginter of Friedens, and Scott 
Lynn and friend Doreen Jones of Berlin; and grandchildren Zackery, Ayla and 
Kayla Norris.  Brother of Gary of Somerset, Richard of Maryland, Kenneth of 
Berlin, Stanley of Uniontown, Sandi Stiffey of Florida, Donna of Johnstown and 
Brenda of Salisbury.  A 1963 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School, 
decorated Vietnam Army veteran and owner of Double Rocking R Trucking Inc., of 
Friedens.  Member of Beulah United Methodist Church, former active member of the 
Sipesville Boy Scouts Council.  He had been a foster parent to several children 
through the Somerset County Children's Aid Home.  Friends will be received from 
5-9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.  Viewing from 10 a.m. until 
the time of service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Beulah United Methodist Church. Rev. 
Dennis E. Fetter officiating.  Interment, church cemetery.
