NORRIS

Roy E. Norris, 94, of Meyersdale died Oct. 10, 2001 at the home of his son 
Leroy.  Born March 10, 1907 in Garrett.  A son of the late Albert and Mary 
(Roby) Norris.  Also preceded in death by his wife, the former Nettie Mae 
Albright; two infant sons, Bruce, and Charles; three brothers: James, Raymond 
and Warren, and a sister, Ruth Twigg.  Survived by son Leroy E. Norris and his 
wife, the former Lois Weimer of Elk Lick Township, Meyersdale; six 
grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.  Also 
survived by a brother: David Norris, Mt. Savage, Md., and sister-in-law, Elsie 
Kerns, Cumberland, Md.  Roy was a coal miner for 50 years, and worked for 
Clappers Manufacturing for five years. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 
9 p.m. Friday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be 
conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Milton Morris officiating.  
Interment, Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.  Memorials may be made to "In Touch" 
Hospice, 1590 N. Center Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501
