Norris, 57, Fairhope, died March 27, 2008, at home. Born July 15, 1950, in Fairhope, a son of Elwood and Hilda (Ringler) Norris. Preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Ronald. Survived by his mother, Hilda, Berlin; these children, Adam and wife, Patricia, Eldred, N.Y.; Stanley and friend, Dimmie Foogde-Liscomb, Fairhope; Steven and wife, Nicole, Fort Meade, Md.; grandchildren, Tabitha, Tyler, Micheal, Juliette, Angellia, Steven, Nicholas and Claude. Brother of Gary Norris and wife, Karen, Friedens; Richard Norris and wife, Cheryl, Sykesville, Md.; Kenneth Norris and wife, Charlene, Fairhope; Sandra Stiffey and husband, Phillip, New Port Richey, Fla.; Donna Sand and husband, Jeff, Johnstown; and Brenda Bradshaw, Berlin. Also survived by a sister-in-law, Rebecca Norris, Sipesville. He was a retired Wildlife Conservation Officer with over 33 years of service, 16 in Fayette County. Outstanding during his entire career for his dedication and hard work ethic and ability to get along with and treat people fairly. Also an outstanding law enforcement officer, conservationist, and environmentalist. A 1968 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School and a 1986 graduate of the Ross Leffler School of Conservation. In 1997, he received the honor of Northeast Conservation Officer of the Year and was the 2007 Somerset County Sportsman of the year. Stan enjoyed life, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where a service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev.
