    Virginia A. Norton, 84, of Patriot Manor and formerly of Boswell RD died April 
  25, 1998 at Somerset Hospital.  Born Feb. 20, 1914 in Brooklyn, N.Y.  Daughter 
  of Albert R. and Grace (Wood) Norton.  Preceded in death by parents, sister and 
  brother-in-law Muriel and Andrew Lennox, sister Idalaura Noble and brother 
  William.  Survived by these nieces and nephews: Dr. Robert W. Lennox, Arlington, 
  Va.; Dr. John E. Lennox, Altoona; Marjorie Smith, Pleasant Hills, Pittsburgh; 
  Glenn Noble, Concord, Ohio. and Nancy Phelps, Murchison, Texas.  Also survived 
  by special friend Geraldine Niehenke, Somerset RD.  Member of St. Paul's 
  Presbyterian Church, and Trinity Chapter 138 Order of Eastern Star, both of 
  Somerset.  Former member of the Business and Professional Womens Club and the 
  Soroptimist Club, both of Somerset.  Owner of the former Roof Garden Gift Shop, 
  Boswell RD for many years.  Friends received from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the 
  Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where services will be held at 
  11 a.m. Tuesday, Rev. Michael A. Dunlap officiating.  Interment, Beam Cemetery, 
  near Gray.  OES Service at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
