  Peter D. Novak, 65, Boswell RD 1, died unexpectedly April 7, 1987, at Memorial 
  Hospital. Born Dec. 28, 1921, in Jerome, son of Adam and Katherine (Wojnarowski) 
  Novak.  Preceded in death by parents.  Survived by widow, the former Katherine 
  Sopich; two children: Gregory S., married to former Karen Baranik, Boswell; and 
  Marisa S., at home; two grandchildren: Jessica and Adam Novak.  Brother of: 
  Josephine, wife of Frank Zablotney; Michel Andrew, married to former Flora Mae 
  Campbell; and Helen, widow of Gus Sotkovsky, all of Boswell.  Member of St. 
  Joseph's Catholic Church, Boswell, where he served as usher for many years.  
  Also member of I.B.E.W. Local 126.  Retired from electrical construction in 
  1983.  Navy veteran of World War II.  Friends received 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-
  4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where 
  Wake Service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Thursday.  Mass of Christian Burial at 10 
  a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Church, Monsignor Samuel Tomaselli.  Interment, Mt. 
  Carmel Cemetery.
