  Janet Ann (Lichty) Nowak died at her home in Elyria, Ohio, on Wednesday,
  May 5, 2004, after a long illness. 
  Born in Elyria, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Nell
  (Brenneman) Lichty.
  Married to Dan Nowak for 23 years, she was preceded in death by her
  parents and an infant son, Shawn Lorn.
  Janet spent many summers visiting in the area and leaves not only her
  immediate family, but many friends and local relatives.  She was a homemaker
  and retired secretary, and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Elyria.
  A graveside ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. this Saturday, May 22, at the
  Lichty Cemetery, Summit Mills.
