  OAKS, Agnes M.  09/25/07   Daily American
  
    Agnes M. Oaks, 98, Somerset, formerly of Hooversville, died Sept. 23, 2007, at The
  Patriot. Born Jan. 14, 1909, the daughter of Armand and Anna (Pasco) McLaney. Preceded in
  death by parents; husband, Kenneth in 1990; brothers, Charles and Lloyd McLaney and
  sister, Jennie Custer. Survived by sister-in-law and good friend, Hazel McLaney,
  Somerset; niece, Carol Custer and her daughter, Marta; and many nieces and nephews on the
  Oaks side of the family. A retired elementary school teacher from the former Forbes Area
  School District. A member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Hooversville. Family will
  receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville, where
  a service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Krista T. Vingelis officiating.
  Interment Custer Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Lutheran
  Church, Hooversville, PA 15936
