GEORGE W. OAKS

  George W. Oaks, 80 years old, died at his home on Diamond St., Tuesday, May 
21, at 10:30 p.m.  He had been in ill health for two years.  He formerly lived 
in Garrett, but moved to Berlin many years ago.  He is survived by his wife, 
Mrs. Leah (Lichty) Oaks.  Funeral services were held at the Johnson Funeral 
Home, Friday, at 2 p.m., with Rev. John Hoenstine officiating.  Interment was 
made in the Garrett Cemetery.
