(Clark) Oaks, 93, formerly of Cairnbrook, died June 6, 1994, at the Brethren Home, Cross Keys, Adams County. Survived by husband, E. Clyde Oaks of the Brethren Home, Adams County. They would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 30. Also survived by a son, John C. Oaks of Morgantown, W.Va.; 3 daughters: Anna Louise Hare of Ossining, N.Y.; Susan M. Leonard of Spring Grove, York County, and Agnes Steffy of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada; 9 grandchildren; a sister, Anna Clark Barnett of Airville, York County. Preceded in death by a brother, John Clark. A former teacher in Shade township from about 1948 to 1959; also taught school in York County. Viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Burg Funeral Home Inc., Red Lion, and 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at Chanceford Presbyterian Church, Airville. Service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the church.
