    Dorothy J. (Martin) Ober, 78, Fort Myers, Fla., formerly of Boswell, died Nov. 28,
  2006, at JoAnn's House (hospice), Bonita Springs, Fla. Born July 14, 1928, in Johnstown,
  daughter of John F. and F. Ruth (Walker) Martin. Preceded in death by father. Survived by
  mother, Florida, formerly of Boswell and Frostburg, Md.; husband of 56 years, Eugene E.;
  son, Craig A., married to Holly Black, Trophy Club, Texas; daughter, Cynthia, married to
  Bruce Ravel, Mendham, N.J.; and grandchildren, Brandon, Bethany and Bryce Ober and
  Natalie and Matthew Ravel. A 1946 graduate of former Boswell High School and a 1949
  graduate of Conemaugh Valley School of Nursing. Former operating room nurse and Cambria
  County bloodmobile nurse prior to moving to West Virginia in 1960. She also had lived in
  New Jersey, Florida and Texas prior to relocating to Fort Myers in 1999. Member of Fort
  Myers United Methodist Church and was an avid bridge and tennis player. Friends and
  family are invited to a graveside service at 1 p.m. Monday at Somerset County Memorial
  Park. The Rev. Dr. Bruce Maxwell, officiating. Memorials may be given to the American
  Cancer Society, 168 W. Union St., Somerset, PA 15501. Flowers may be delivered directly
  to graveside after noon on Monday. Arrangements in charge of Hoffman Funeral Homes.
