  OBER
  
  J. LeVan Ober, 70, formerly of Hooversville, died Nov. 5, 1985, at Uniontown 
  Hospital.  Born April 13, 1915, in Jerry City, Ohio, son of Mrs. Carrie 
  (Whitacre) Ober of Richland Manor and the late John B. Ober.  Survived by brother 
  Allan, married to Alyce Rosey of Hooversville; niece, Mrs. Nathan (Sandra) 
  Barkley, and great-nephew, Christopher O. Barkley, both of Berlin.  Life member 
  of Hooversville Christian Church.  Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Wednesday 
  at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. 
  Thursday, the Rev. Gerald L. Myers officiating.  Interment, Somerset County 
  Memorial Park.
