  O'BRIEN
  
  Dalton J. O'Brien, 79, of Rockwood, passed on Feb. 18, 2002, at Patriot Manor in 
  Somerset.  He was born Nov. 25, 1922, in Milford Township.  Son of the late Edward 
  J. and Hattie (Baughman) O'Brien.  He was preceded in death by his parents, 
  sisters Mary O'Brien and Mae Nicholson, and brothers Earl, Elwood and Ernest 
  O'Brien.  He is survived by his wife, the former Audrey Meyers, whom he married 
  May 1, 1946, sisters, Gladys O'Brien and Ada Briskey, both of Rockwood, and 
  numerous nieces and nephews.  He was a veteran of World War II and served 2 1/2 
  years in the South Pacific Theater. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 
  to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where a service will be 
  held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Rev. Barry Ritenour officiating.  Interment, Union 
  Cemetery, New Centerville.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be 
  made to In Touch Hospice at 1590 N. Center Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
