  Mrs. Edith H. O'BRIEN
  
  Mrs. Edith H. O'Brien, 71, of Swanton (Md.) RD 2, died Dec. 15, 1974, in 
  Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland. Born in Swanton, she was a daughter 
  of the late Arch H. and H. May (Fitzwater) Beckman. She was a member of North 
  Glade Methodist Church.
  Surviving are her husband, Howard J. O'Brien; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth 
  Moon, LaVale, Md.; and Mrs. Lena Harvey, Swanton; and two brothers, Harland and 
  Rudolph Beckman, both of Swanton.
  Funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon in North Glade Methodist Church 
  with Rev. Gail Hixon officiating. Interment in North Glade Cemetery.
