O'Brien, 82, Everett, passed away on Christmas Day, Dec. 25,2007, at home, with her family by her side. She was born July 20, 1925, in Ralphton, Somerset County, a daughter of the late Albert J. Grasser, and Irene M. (Schaab) Grasser. A brother, Harold Grasser preceded her in death. On Oct. 9, 1962, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Cumberland, she married Leo L. O'Brien, who survives along with her sisters, Rita Hinson, and husband, Merle Hinson, Clearville; Donna Imgrund, and husband, Tom Imgrund, Everett; three brothers, Donald Grasser, and wife, Kay (Frazier) Grasser, New Baltimore; Miles Grasser, and wife, Mary (Leonard) Grasser, Harrisburg; Gerald Grasser, New Baltimore; and sister-in-law, Mary (Lucas) Grasser, New Baltimore; and many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great- nephews. Mrs. O'Brien was a member of St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Everett, where she enjoyed being part of the candy making and pie baking fund raising events. She was a graduate of Schellsburg Napier High School, class of 1943, and then was a seamstress at Lion Manufacturing in Everett for over 30 years. She then worked at the Wendy's Restaurant in Breezewood where she enjoyed waiting on customers, working until her retirement. Eileen was affectionately known as "Teener" to her family and friends, and especially enjoyed taking walks and caring for her companion dog, Ty. She enjoyed the friendship of others, never having met a stranger, and was a loving wife, sister and aunt who will be greatly missed. Viewing from 10 a.m. until departure for the church at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Everett. The Rev. Norman P. Imgrund officiating. Burial will be held at Everett Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made in memory\ of Mrs. O'Brien to St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church, 161 East First Ave., Everett, PA 15537.
