  O'BRIEN
  
  Mary Ellen O'Brien, 82, of Somerset RD 1, died Oct. 17, 1995, at her 
  residence.  Born Jan. 27, 1913, in Upper Turkeyfoot Township.  Daughter of the 
  late Wilson and Rachael (Geary) Pyle.  Preceded in death by a sister, Lena 
  Hillegas.  Survived by her husband, Elwood Woodrow O'Brien, to whom she was 
  married 57 years, and these children:  Mrs. Marlin W. (Nancy) Friedline, 
  Fairfield, Ca.; Edward W. O'Brien, married to the former Earlene Sechler, 
  Somerset RD 1; Mrs. John L. (Mary Jane) Maust, Somerset RD 2.  Six grandchildren 
  and four great-grandchildren.  Sister of Mrs. Bertha Miller of Phoenix, Az.; 
  Mrs. Ruby Resh of McKeesport, Mrs. Martha Armstrong of Rockwood RD 3, Miss Edna 
  Pyle of Rockwood, Mrs. Robert (Nellie) Miller of Mill Run, and John Pyle of 
  Rockwood RD 1.  Member of Messiah Lutheran Church and its Willing Workers Sunday 
  School Class and the Milford  Grange.
  Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday 
  at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset.  Services will be conducted at 11 
  a.m. Saturday in the Messiah Lutheran Church, Rev. John Palko officiating.  
  Interment, New Centerville Union Cemetery.  No viewing at the church.  
  Contributions may be made to Somerset "In Touch" Hospice, 651 S. Center Ave., 
  Somerset, Pa. 15501.
