    Joseph P. O'Connor, 84, Johnstown, died Feb. 25, 2006, at Memorial Medical Center, Main
  Campus, Johnstown. Born April 5, 1921, in Jenner Township, son of Peter Gallitzin and Lulu
  (Georg) O'Connor. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by brother, Charles, married to
  the former Ruth Berkey, Johnstown; and sis- ter, Pauline Holder, formerly of Somerset
  County. He was a retired school teacher with 35 years of service in Somerset School
  District. After retire- ment, he taught one year at St. Benedict's Catholic School, where
  he also served as a Eucharistic minister. No viewing or receiving of friends. Mass of
  Christian Burial, 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Benedict's Catholic Church, Geistown Borough.
  Cremains will be interred in the O'Connor Cemetery. Arrangements by George E. Mason
  Funeral Home, Inc., Davidsville. In lieu of flow- ers, please make donations to your
  favorite charity.
