   James Edward Oehling, 63, Somerset, passed on May 3, 2007, at home. Born July 5, 1943,
  in Pittsburgh, he is the son of the late Walter and Alice (Herring) Oehling. He is
  survived by his wife of 41 years, Marjorie (Woods) Oehling; daughter, Melissa Oehling and
  fiancˇ, Shanon Johnson, Port Clinton, Ohio; and brothers, Richard and wife, Beverly,
  Somerset; and Frederick and wife, Corda, The Village, Fla. He is a 1961 graduate of
  Somerset High School and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a retired employee of the
  GTE/Verizon Telephone Co. He was a long-time softball player for the Somerset Community
  Hospital team in the Roof Garden Softball League. He also was active in coaching in the
  Somerset Little League and Senior League programs. He enjoyed playing golf, racquetball
  and spending time at Whipkey Dam. He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in
  Somerset where he was a past president of the administrative board. Friends will be
  received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral
  Home, Somerset, where a service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Eric Raygor
  officiating. Interment at Somerset County Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be
  sent to "In Touch" Hospice at 223 Pleasant Ave., Somerset, PA 15501, or Grace United
  Methodist Church at 320 Felgar Road Somerset, PA 15501.
