  CHARLES R. OESTER JR.
  
    Charles R. Oester Jr., 73, died December 21, 1982, Meyersdale Community
  Hospital.
    Born in Elk Lick Township, he was a son of the late Charles R. Oester Sr.
  and Ada (Engle) Oester.  Two granddaughters, Angela Kay Oester and Jody Lynn
  Oester, also preceded him in death.
    He was a retired farmer and was a member of Salisbury Church of the
  Brethren. 
    He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Leona (McKenzie) Oester; four sons,
  Edgar Oester, Salisbury; Donald Oester and David Oester, both of
  Meyersdale; Charles (Chuck) Oester, Springs; five daughters, Mrs. Ada House
  and Mrs. Linda House, both of Grantsville; Mrs. Bonnie Minnick, Champion;
  Mrs. Clara Christner, Meyersdale, Mrs. Lois Rugg, Confluence; 15
  grandchildren, and three great grandchildren; two brothers, Jay Oester,
  Springs; Warren Oester, Salisbury; and one sister, Miss Mary Oester,
  Springs.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, where
  services were conducted with the Rev. Daniel Whitacre officiating. 
  Interment was in the Salisbury Cemetery.
