Born July 21, 1917, in Salisbury, he was a son of the late Charles and Ada (Engle) Oester. Member of Salisbury Church of the Brethren. He was employed as a dairy herdsman and at one time was a milk inspector for Dairy Herd Improvement Association. Surviving is a brother, Warren Oester, Salisbury, and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends were received Sunday at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Salisbury Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Daniel Whitacre officiating.
