  EVERETT B. OESTER
  
    Everett B. Oester, 66, of Grantsville RD 2, Md., died Thursday, May 12,
  1988, at his residence.
    He was born Feb. 24, 1922, at Bittinger, Md., a son of the late Clarence
  and Lucie (Bittinger) Oester.  He was toolsman for National Jet, LaVale, Md.
    He was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ, a past Sunday
  School superintendent, former custodian of the church, and consistory of
  the church.
    He was a member of the W.O.W. No. 68, Bittinger, Md.
    Surviving are his widow, Helen (Durst) Oester and a son, Wayne Oester,
  Meyersdale; a daughter, Mrs. Sherri Reese, Barton, Md.; and three
  grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md. 
  Services were held at the Trinity United Church of Christ, Sunday at 2 p.m.
  by the Rev. Jay E. Shaffer.
    Interment, Trinity Church Cemetery.
