  Betty Elaine Oglevee, 79, of Somerset, died Oct. 24, 2003 at UPMC
  Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born June 27, 1924, in Somerset, a
  daughter of Ezra Reuben and Lucy Pearl (Lohr) Baer.  Preceded in death by
  parents; brother Ezra L. Baer; sisters, Ella Jean Heritz, Anna Mary Lowery
  and Irene Keiffer.  Survived by husband, Dale W. Oglevee, to whom she was
  married 57 years; children, Craig Oglevee and wife Mary of Somerset, and Mrs.
  Dennis (Barbara) Ford of York; grandchildren: Steven W. Oglevee and wife
  Melissa of Ladera Ranch, Calif., Ethan M. Oglevee and wife Danielle of
  Eatontown, N.J., Ashley W. Oglevee of Somerset, Kristin M. Ford, wife of
  Chris Haaf of Raleigh, N.C., and Ryan K. Ford of State College;
  step-grandchildren: Elizabeth A. Marteeny of Johnstown, Adrian J. Custer of
  Somerset, Second Lt. Nathan J. Custer USMC Quantico, Va., and Seth W Custer
  of Muenster, Germany; great grandchildren, Max and Allie Oglevee; step
  great-grandchildren, Chandler and Preston Marteeny.  Life member of St. Paul's
  United Methodist Church for 67 years.  A 1942 graduate of Somerset High School.
  Retired co-owner of Somerset Floral Company for 41 years.  Friends received
  from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home.
  Service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's United Church of
  Christ, Somerset.  The Rev. Dr. Herbert R. Hicks officiating. No viewing at
  the church.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
