Born Jan. 22, 1932 in Somerset Township, he was the son of Mrs. Pearll (Weighley) Ogline of Friedens RD 1 and the late Fred W. Ogline. Survived by his wife, the former Lois L. Traup. He was a brother of William D. of Friedens RD 1; Robert L. of Somerset RD 7; Fred of Cherry Point, N.C.; and Mrs. Douglas (Alice) Parker, Mercer RD 1. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Somerset Lodge No. 358 F. and A.M., The Altoona Consistory, Jaffa Shrine, VFW, American Legion, the Meyersdale BPO Elks, and the Somerset Lodge of the Loyal Order of Moose. Also a Veteran of the Korean War and had owned and operated the Beacon Restaurant for the past 17 years. Friends are being received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Richard Shellenberger officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
