  Alex James "Junior" Ohler Jr., 71, of Stoystown died March 34, 1997, at 
  Somerset Hospital.  Born Aug. 28, 1925, in Listie.  Son of Nina 
  (Mitchell) Ohler of Stoystown and the late Alexander Ohler.  Survived by his 
  wife of 53 years, the former Laura Esherick, and these children; Earl 
  James, married to the former Linda Younkin, and Ernest, married to the 
  former Beth Croner, both of Berlin; Donna, married to Alan Abbey of 
  Goshen, Ga.; Linda Miller and friend Paul Fike, Sparta, Tenn., and Denise, 
  married to Ronald Bittner, Katner.  14 grandchildren and 14 
  great-grandchildren.  Brother of Cindy Emerick of Fairhope, Harvey of Kimmelton, 
  Robert of Springfield, W.Va.;  Dolly Smith of Stoystown and Dorothy Cottle 
  of Hyndman and brother-in-law, Guy Esherick, Kimmelton.  Retired coal 
  miner.  Member of Katner Assembly of God.  Family will receive friends 
  from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner 
  Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 11 a.m. 
  Thursday, Rev. Marty Critchfield.  Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.  
  Memorial contributions may be given to Kantner Assembly of God.
