He was born in Humbert, Feb. 21, 1902, son of William and LuCinda (Mitchell) Ohler. He is survived by spouse, Nina Jane; three sons, Alexzander Jr., Harvey and Robert, all of Stoystown; three daughters, Cinda Emerick, Fairhope; Dolly Anna Smith, Stoystown; and Dorothy Miller, Hyndman. Also survived by six brothers, Milton Ohler of Markleton; Harvey Mitchell of Boswell; Leroy Mitchell of Rockwood RD 1; John Mitchell of Freidens RD 1; Scott Mitchell of Boswell RD 1; Clarence Mitchell of Aliquippa; and half-sister Dorothy Mitchell of Fairhope RD 1; 25 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren. Mr. Ohler was a miner and a resident of Fairhope for 40 years, where he was a member of the Fairhope Community Church and Fairhope Rod and Gun Club. Funeral services were held at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home with the Revs. Leroy Logsdon, Timothy Stamper, and Edward Murray officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. The Republic, March 31, 1983 [O0120]
