  Earl J. "Jim" Ohler, 56, of Berlin, died Nov. 25, 2002 at his residence. 
  Born Jan. 3, 1946 in Somerset, he is the son of Laura (Esherick) Ohler,
  Kantner, and the late Alex Ohler.  Surviving in addition to his mother, are
  his wife of 35 years, Linda (Younkin) Ohler; son, Brian, married to the
  former Cathy Hilpert, Tidioute; daughter, Melanie married to Eric Ryman,
  Friedens; grandchildren Derick, Staci and Nicole Ryman and Lauren Ohler;
  step-granddaughters, Jennifer Hittie, Kristie and Emily Singer; four
  step-great-grandchildren, sisters Dona Abbey, Odum, Ga.; Linda Fike,
  Sparta, Tenn.; Denise Bittner, Kantner; and a brother, Ernest Ohler,
  Berlin.  He was a graduate of the former Forbes High School class of 1963;
  a former truck driver and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Family will receive
  friends from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown,
  where service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Marty R.
  Critchfield officiating.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to
  the American Cancer Society, Somerset Unit, 168 W. Union St., Somerset, Pa.
