  OHLER
  
  Elmer M. "Chub" Ohler, 49, of Berlin, died Dec. 10, 1988, in Northhampton
  Township.  He was born May 23, 1939, in Brothersvalley Township, son of
  Irvin and Anna Catherine (Miller) Ohler.  Preceded in death by parents and
  brother, Harold "Muzz."  Survived by his wife of 19 years, the former Joan
  Woy; and these children, Christine and Wayne, both at home.  Brother of:
  Roy of Meyersdale; Violet Gindlesperger and Virginia Purceilli, both of
  Windber; Leo, Donald and JoAnn Buratty, all of Berlin; Eugene of Garrett;
  Betty Mills of McDonald; William of Clifton Park, N.Y.; and Carol Baughman
  of Somerset.  Member of Pine Hill Lutheran Church.  He was a supervisor for
  Cable Systems U.S.A. of Somerset and former truck driver for Cooper
  Jarrett.  Member of the Teamsters Union.  Funeral service will be held at 3
  p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, BERLIN, the Rev. Gene J. Abel
  officiating.  Interment, Pine Hill Cemetery.  No viewing or visitation. 
  Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association.
