Ohler, aged 79, retired local coal miner, died at 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, at his home in Boynton. He was born Sept. 20, 1867, in Somerset County, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Ohler. His wife, the former Dora Heinbaugh, died several years ago. Surviving are three sons, William H., Denver, Colo., and John H. and George D., both at home, and one daughter, Orpha, at home. There are two grandsons, Lawrence and Eugene Ohler. Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home until Saturday at 2:30 p.m. when funeral rites were conducted by Rev. Floyd Gotjen, pastor of the Methodist Church. Interment was made in St. Paul's Cemetery, under the direction of W. C. Price & Son. Meyersdale Republican, January 23, 1947
