Ohler, 86, Windber, formerly of Hooversville, died Nov. 17 1996 at Windber Hospital. Born Feb 27, 1911 in Listie, son of the late George and Malinda (Sechler) Ohler. Also preceded in death by brothers, Jacob, Amos, and James. Survived by wife, the former Florence Naugle; niece, Pauline Lowery, Shanksville, and cousin, Harvey Ohler, Rockwood. Was a farmer for many years and retired as maintenence man from Camp Sequanota, Jennerstown. Former member of Lambertsville Lutheran Church, Grace Lutheran Church, Stoystown, and current member of the St. Thomas Lutheran Church, Hooversville, RD, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Gerald Myers will officiate. Interment, church cemetery. The family received friends Tuesday evening at the Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Inc., Windber. Those who wish may make contributions to either St. Thomas Lutheran Church or Camp Sequanota in memory of Mr. Ohler. Visitation one hour prior to service at church.
