Born July 10, 1903, in Mount Union, a daughter of the late J. Herman Landis and Anna Mary (Sechler) Landis. Married John Warren Ohler on March 31, 1934. He died January 2, 1974. A member of the 15th Street United Methodist Church, Huntington. Also a member of three historical societies, the Friends of the East Broad Top Railroad, and an archaelogical society in Somerset. Taught for a number of years in the public schools of Mount Union and Asbury Park, N.J. Attended Mount Union Public Schools and graduated from Mount Union High School in the Class of 1921. Also graduated from Juniata College. An avid traveler, Mrs. Ohler made 3 round-the-world trips and lived for a brief period in Iran. Mrs. Ohler traveled 22 times with the Juniata College Alumni Tours. Funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the John B. Brown Funeral Home, Inc., Rev. David L. Dearing.
