  LAURA L. OHLER
  
  Laura L. Ohler, 74, of Kantner, died February 11, 2003 at the home of her 
  daughter.  Born May 5, 1928 in Kimmelton, the daughter of Homer and 
  Badie (Close) Esherick.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband 
  Alex, son Earl James, sisters Hazel Allen and Evelyn Shaulis, brother 
  Guy Esherick, and sons-in-law Ronald Bittner and Grant Gilbert.  She is 
  survived by these children, Donna, married to Alan Abbey, Odum, Ga.; 
  Linda, married to Paul Fike, Sparta, Tenn.; Denise Bittner, Kantner; 
  Ernest, married to the former Beth Croner, Berlin; daughter-in-law, Linda Sue 
  Ohler, Berlin, 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and three 
  great-great-grandchildren.  She was a cook at the former Somerset Coffee 
  Shop and the Beaver Creek Inn, Stoystown.  She was a member of Kantner 
  Assembly of God.  Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, 
  and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, 
  where a service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday with Rev. Marty Critchfield 
  and Rev. James Hodges officiating.  Intermemt, Odd Fellows Cemetery, 
  Stoystown.  Memorial contributions may be sent to "In Touch" Hospice, 1590 
  N. Center Ave. Suite 111, Somerset, Pa. 15501
