Born November 4, 1923 in Berlin, son of the late Irvin F. and Anna Catherine (Miller) Ohler. Also preceded in death by grandson Jesse L Smith IV; brothers Harold "Muzz" Ohler, Elmer "Chub" Ohler and Leo Ohler: and infant sister Viola, Survived by wife of 50 years, the former Mary Lou Gray; five daughters, Kathy Sanner, Grantsville, Md., Gloria, wife of Jessie Smith III, Meyersdale, Lois, wife of David Reiber, Salisbury, and Connie Ohler, Berlin; nine grandchildren, Tina Donaldson, Mickey Smith, Autumn Smith, Frank Smith, Rhonda Smith, Stacey Krause, Scott Hotchkiss, Sherri Reiber and Greg Reiber; also 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A brother of Violet Gindlesperger, Windber, Virginia Purcelli, Windber, Gene Ohler, Garrett, Betty Mills, Macdonald, Pa., Bill Ohler, Clifton Park, NY, Carol Baughman, Somerset, Donald "Doc" Ohler, Berlin and JoAnn Buratty, Berlin. He retired from the New Florence Mines, was a veteran of the US Army World War II, and a member of American Legion Post 112 and VFW Post 3504, Meyersdale. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and a 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Glenn Foster officiating.
