  OHLER
  
  Ruth W. Ohler, 55, of Rockwood, died June 21, 1982, in the Meyersdale 
  Communtiy Hospital.  Born April 28, 1927, in Somerset County, daughter 
  of Dewey and Mae (Williams) Shaffer.  She is survived by her mother, Mae 
  Chapin, of Jewett, Ohio; her husband, James, Rockwood; by these sons: 
  Harvey, Markelton; James, Scottdale RD 1; William, Fort Hill; Paul and Charles, 
  both at home; by two daughters: Mrs. Charles (Caroline) Mowrey of Somerset 
  and Mrs. Neil (Dorothy) Maust of Berlin; one sister, Mrs. Charlotte Ohler, 
  Markleton; and seven grand children.  She was preceded in death by and infant 
  son in 1948.  Friends will be received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, 
  Rockwood, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, where services will be conducted 
  Thursday at 1 p.m.with the Rev. Roy C. Bowers officiating.  Interment, Mt. Zion 
  Cemetery.
