Born Oct 18, 1900 in Somereset County, a son of William and Lucinda Ohler. Preceded in death by parents, his first wife, the former Janie Sessler, three brothers and one sister. Survived by his widow, the former Blanche Moore and the following children: Clarence of Aliquippa, Mrs. William (Loretta) Blume of Beaver aand William L. of Stoystown RD 1; two stepchildren, Mrs. Ray Barrett of Martinsburg, WVa. and Ruth Trent of Friedens. Also survived by 16 grandchildren. He was a brother of Milton of Markleton, Alex of Fairhope and Melvin of Hyndman. A half-brother of Scott Mitchell of Boswell, John Mitchell of Gray, Mrs. Nina Ohler of Fairhope, Harvey Mitchell of Boswell RD, Clarence Mitchell of Ambridge, Dorothy Mitchell of Stoystown RD 3 and Leroy Mitchell of New Centerville. He was a retired coal miner and a member of the U.M.W.A. Local 1742 in Jenners, Somerset Aerie F.O.E. and the Jenners Rod and Gun Club. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Charles R. Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Marlin A.
