She was born May 4, 1933, in Jenner Township. Ruth is predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Judy, Rockford. Ruth is survived by her husband of 52 years, Terrence O'Keefe, four sons, Mike O'Keefe, Ronnie O'Keefe, Willard O'Keefe, and Terry O'Keefe. Ten Grandchildren, Dusty O'Keefe, Cassandra Starr O'Keefe, Melanie Perez and husband Daniel, Sarai O'Keefe, Britney O'Keefe, Michael O'Keefe, Caroline O'Keefe, John O'Keefe, Victor "Bubba" Stevens and Alex O'Keefe. Seven great-grandchildren, Joanna O'Keefe, Seth Perez, Trenton Perez, Alyssa Perez, Landon O'Keefe, Kylin O'Keefe and Emma Skye Wall. Sisters, Betty Ringer of Houston, Texas and Ruby Lyons of Rockwood. Brother, Dennis Dicky of Somerset, and many nieces, nephews, and loving friends. She served in the U.S. Air Force and was a long time employee for Watkins Grocery in Houston. She also worked as a realtor in Houston, Pasadena, and Pearland, Texas. Ruth was a 30-year resident of Pearland, Texas and a member of St. Helen Catholic Church. Recently, she had retired to the community of El Dorado in Markham, Texas. Ruth was a gracious wife, mother, "MeMaw", sister, and friend. She was the heart of her family and will be greatly missed. Ruth will be laid to rest 2 p.m Tuesday at the Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas. Pallbearers are Mike O'Keefe, Ronnie O'Keefe, Willard O'Keefe, Terry O'Keefe, Michael O'Keefe, John O'Keefe, Alex O'Keefe and, Victor Stevens. 12/14/2004 Daily American
