  OMERZO
  
  Mike Omerzo, 70, of Somerset, died Aug. 14, 2003 at Somerset Hospital. 
  Born Sept. 18, 1932 in Kantner, Quemahoning Township, a son of John and
  Christina (Remz) Omerzo.  Preceded in death by parents; brothers: Thomas,
  James, Frank and John Omerzo; sisters: Mary Mullen and Ann Shaffer. 
  Survived by children: Mrs. Duane (Sherry) Weingartner of Somerset, Mrs.
  Calvin (Mary) Mowry, Jr. of Central City, David M. Omerzo of Acosta,
  Michael F. Omerzo and wife Molly of Richmond, Ky., and Mark A. Omerzo of
  St. Paul, Minn.; 10 grandchildren: Mrs. Michael (Jennifer) Riggs, Erin
  Powell, Marilyn Powell and Adam Powell all of Somerset, Westley and Derek
  Fountain of Richmond, Ky., Dirk Omerzo, Lancaster, Pa.; Andrew and Matthew
  Omerzo of Berkley Springs, W.Va., Michayla Omerzo of Richmond, Ky.; two
  great-grandchildren, Madalyn Powell and Isaac Riggs.  Brother of Louis
  Omerzo, Mrs. Donna Jean Gates and Robert Omerzo, all of Cortland, Ohio. 
  Korean War veteran, U.S. Air Force.  Welder at U.S. Steel Johnstown for 15
  years retiring in 1980.  Member of FOE Aerie 1801, American Legion Post 181
  and Jenner Rod and Gun Club.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Sunday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home where service will be conducted 10
  a.m. Monday with Rev. Roger L. Forry officiating.  Interment Somerset
  County Memorial Park.  Contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
