  Marie K. Onstead, 81, of Berlin formerly of Stonycreek Twp., died Aug. 17, 2002 
  at Somerset Hospital.  Born May 9, 1921 in Allegheny Twp. the daughter of George 
  and Jenny (Benning) Saylor.  She is preceded in death by parents, husband Roy W., 
  and son-in-law George Sadlon.  Survived by daughter Thelma Sadlon, granddaughter 
  Christine Sadlon and fiancee Ronald Wissinger, all of Windber. Sister of 
  Margaret Hummel and Galen Saylor both of Berlin,  Ernest Saylor of Toledo, Ohio, 
  and Betty Shaulis of Gaines.  Member of Unity United Church of Christ, 4th 
  Society of Farm Women, Valley Grange 878, Berlin Historical Society and 
  Shanksville Silver and Gold Senior Citizens.  Family will receive friends from 2 
  to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin where service will be 
  held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Rev. Jay E. Shaffer and Rev. Ralph G. Landis 
  officiating.  Interment Walker Cemetery, Shanksville.
